Day7-8.. Emotional eater

Hi bloggers and readers..

Sorry that I did not blog about weight loss supplements yesterday, by the time I knew it my day had gone! Also I won't be posting about them today either as another topic came up but I promise to give you all my thought tomorrow xoxo

Today I am having a rather emotional day. There have been tears, there has been sad thoughts and there have been the cravings for something sweet, anything really, as long as it isn't good for me!! I have even been contemplating the philadelphia frosting or the dessert cream sitting in my fridge but I can safely safe that they are still in there for now, haha..

It is funny how our brain works, how the chemicals in our body want anything but goodness to eat. I have always been an emotional eater and also one who eats out of boredom, because it gives me something to do. I guess you could also say that I have been a social eater too, when I am around other I feel the need to have food.. Wow looks like I just like food whatever the situation!! The key is to only eat when you need to, when you are really hungry, but to know when you are really hungry and to have water first as your body just might need hydrating..

What kind of an eater are you? Emotional, bored, social? Would be interesting to know who else out there likes to grab for the chocolate bar or the packet of chips!!

On that note I am off to go have some fruit.. Good sugar!

  1. Having a 'down' week here, I know what you mean. I'm cravvvvving sweet stuff, filling stuff, comforting food, anything! And telling myself, just ONE thing. But of course it's not just one thing. Or one meal. Or one day.
Your telling your story online and being 'accountable' to us is a powerful thing.
    You CAN do this.
Plus inspire greatly others to do this also.
    Hang in there Lami! xxx

  2. You can do it Lami- we all can!
I find it works well to have a sweet treat you can turn to in those times of need- mine is blueberries.
When my willpower is lacking I just don't buy the temptations. I'm in charge of the grocery shopping- so if I don't buy it, it doesn't enter the house. Last week when I bought ice-cream for the hubby and kids, I chose one that I didn't like, just so I wouldn't be tempted.
I've never needed a chocolate enough to get in the car and drive to the shop, so not buying it in the first place really helps.
    :)
