Day 5- Be prepared!

Hello lovely bloggers and faithful readers..

Yesterday marked day 5 of being fit and fab and I can tell you that it was a struggle!!

It started really good in the morning as I ate a healthy breakfast, drank plenty of water and went to have a shower as I was to go into the City, do some jobs, have lunch with hubby and then do grocery shopping as the cupboards were bare!! I was about to have my shower and I realized that I left the pram in hubby's car and was stuck at home! (First hiccup for the day..) Then as the day progressed and I was in between breakfast and lunch I became hungry and went to get a piece of fruit. I went to the fridge and there was none left as I was meant to go grocery shopping (2nd hiccup of the day) and so as my mind went into fight or flight mode I foolishly went and had a small packet of biscuit shapes (3rd hiccup of the day.) They were bland, I longed for fruit, but I was hungry!!

Eating a small packet of shaped threw my day out a little and as I had nothing much at home for lunch (Because I was meant to be out) I ate way too much cheese with my salad (4th hiccup for the day) and then for a snack at night because my husband mentioned that icecream was on special I had a small bowl of porridge late at night (5th hiccup for the day.) Now I know I did okay yesterday but I could of dome better and didn't do all that great..

The things I am proud of however are-

1. I ate a small packet of shapes instead of a box

2. I had a little extra cheese instead of Red rooster

3. I had porridge instead of 4 slice of toast

The point here is be prepared, always make sure that there is fruit and healthy food in the house. Do not let the cupboards and fridge get empty even if you plan to go shopping as you don't know what hiccup may occur!
